ChanServ
SET LEAVEOPS

Have you ever /joined an empty channel, had the server op you, and then *poof* ChanServ comes around and deops you? That's a sure way to know that the channel is registered to someone else, whether there is anyone on it or not. LeaveOps tells ChanServ how to behave when no one's around. If you turn LeaveOps ON, then if someone were to /join your registered channel and receive ops from the server, (because you were the only one there) then ChanServ would not deop them. That's how this function works.

NOTE: This topic and OpGuard are not entirely compatible. If OpGuard is ON, and LeaveOps are on, LeaveOps gets cancelled out - unless the first person to /join your channel is on your AOp list or above, they will not get ops on your channel regardless of LeaveOps being on. The information provided below will tell you how to use this command and give you pointers for some problems you may come across.
