Unban

• Usage:
  
  /chanserv unban (channel) (me|all)

  NOTE: you do not need to use parentheses.

• Breakdown:
  • Channel
    Substitute the channel name, for example #gryphons here.

  • Me|All
    If you use Me, it will unban you from the channel you specify. Users who gain unathorized access to a channel often ban all the regular channel operators, and this command will help you get your channel back.
    If you use All, it will remove all bans from the channel you specify. Be extra careful when using this command, especially if you are not the founder, as the bans can't be replaced except by hand.

• Examples:

  If you were FlameMage, and someone banned you on gryphons, you would type:

  /chanserv unban #gryphons Me

  This command, when completed successfully, would have ChanServ reply as such:

  -ChanServ- All bans against you on #gryphons are now cleared

  And on the channel:

  *** Mode change "-b *!*acolman@*.RollaNET.org" on channel #gryphons by ChanServ

• Extra Notes:

  If you didn't know, when everyone leaves a channel, the ban list is automatically cleared. If you get a message such as:

  -ChanServ- No such channel - #gryphons

  Then no one is one the channel and the ban is cleared anyway.
