• Usage:

  /chanserv op (channel) (-)(nick)

  NOTE: you do not need to use parentheses.

• Breakdown:
  • Channel
    Substitute the channel name, for example #dragonrealm here.

  • -Nick
    the - in front of the nick means that you would deop the person instead of opping them. Just supply the nick of the person you want to op or deop, for example: Lydian or -Lydian.

• Examples:

  /chanserv op #dragonrealm FlameMage

  After typing this command, ChanServ would not send you a personal notice, like it normally does, but you would see this on the channel:

  *** Mode change "+o FlameMage" on channel #DragonRealm by ChanServ

  Accordingly, this command:

  /chanserv op #dragonrealm -Lydian

  Would result in seeing this on the channel:

  *** Mode change "-o Lydian" on channel #DragonRealm by ChanServ
