Invite

• Usage:

  /chanserv invite (channel) (nick)

  NOTE: you do not need to use parentheses.

• Breakdown:
  • Channel
    Substitute the channel name, for example: #dragonrealm here.

  • Nick
    Substitute the nick of the person you wish to invite here, for example: Morpher

• Examples:

  /chanserv invite #dragonrealm Morpher

  You will receive this notice from ChanServ if this command is completed successfully:

  -ChanServ- Morpher has been invited to #dragonrealm

  Morpher would see:

  *** ChanServ (service@dal.net) invites you to #DragonRealm
  

• Extra Notes:

  Error Messages:

  • -ChanServ- No such nick - Morpher
    Either Morpher changed his nick or he is no longer logged on.

  • -ChanServ- No such channel - #hotsoup
    The channel may indeed be registered - don't panic. All this means is that no one is on it right now, so at present, ChanServ thinks it doesn't exist. (Tip: make sure you have your channel spelled right!)
