NickServ
BBSnet's nickname registration service, NickServ, gives users the option of registering their nickname, with no wait, and preventing other users from using the nickname. Registering a nickname also allows a user to receive memos with MemoServ. To see help for a command, please click on it in the list below.
- ACC - Determine the access level for a user.
- ACCESS - Control your access list.
- ADD - Add a mask to the access list.
- DEL - Delete a mask from the access list.
- LIST - View all the masks in your access list.
- DROP - Drop a registered nickname.
- GHOST - Remove a ghosted nickname.
- IDENTIFY - Identify as a nickname owner.
- INFO - Get info about a nickname.
- LIST - Disabled commands.
- RECOVER - Stop someone from using your nickname.
- REGISTER - Register a nickname with NickServ.
- RELEASE - Release a nickname that NickServ protects.
- SET - Set various parameters.
- KILL - Modify the KILL setting for your nickname.
- NOOP - Prevent users from granting you AOP/SOP status.
- NOMEMO - Prevent users from sending you memos.
- PASSWD - Change your nickname password.
- URL - Set a URL for your nickname.
